I've thought that the whole no gay marriage movement was silly. But if that is what it takes to keep Angelina Jolie in play, where do I sign up?

new york - brad pitt, ever the social activist, says he won't be marrying angelina jolie until the restrictions on who can marry whom are dropped.
"angie and i will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," the 42-year-old actor reveals in esquire magazine's october issue, on newsstands sept. 19.. is brad pitt morphing into tom cruise, or is that just my imagination?.

If 9/11 never happened, would we have any reason - not afflilated with 9/11 - to be in Iraq now?If 9/11 never happened, would we have any reason - not afflilated with 9/11 - to be in Iraq now?
I believe the US would have taken Saddam out regardless. The US had supported Saddam during the Iran/Iraq war with cash and equipment (including WMD's). The US was responsible for Saddam's consolidation of power during this time period which allowed him to operate unimpeeded. In my opinion the US was morally obligated to remove Saddam from power because the US played a major role in his development. Again, that is just my opinion.
I think the best evidence that debunks the 9-11 conspiracy theories is the footage of Bush sitting in that classroom looking like a deer caught in the headlights upon hearing the news of the attacks in New York. If Bush was involved in a conspiracy its hard to believe that he would want to be portrayed as being clueless at the key moment. Unless that was part of the conspiracy and Bush is a great actor.

Keep in mind that this Cuba plan did not go forward. The plan is really complicated. The Wikpedia piece notes that Kennedy rejected the idea (maybe because it was stupid) and basically fired Lemnitzer from the Joint Chiefs. Kennedy pursued the much easier Bay of Pigs approach and that didn't work out very well. He then turned his attention to Viet Nam...yikes! At least that is what Wikpedia says.

I was buying the whole thing until the paper quoted Jim Fetzer. Everything is a conspiracy to the good professor. He taught at UM-Duluth and used to write extensively for one of the local indie papers.

Did your Kingdom hall ever cancel meetings?
by moshe inwe were building a new kh- not quick build- and we had to vacate the old building and the new kh was not finished.
the elders decided to cancel all the meeting with the exception of the tuesday night bookstudy in homes.
we had no other meetings for about 4-5 weeks.

Usually just for weather in the winter.
One time during the summer the door to the hall opened and a cop walked in. Everyone turned and stared at the cop. I'm sure a number of people thought that a cop walking into the hall could only mean one thing - Armeggedon was starting. But instead of saying, "You are all under arrest" he said that a really bad storm containing tornados was bearing down on the area and he wanted to warn us because the storm sirens were not working. So the meeting was cancelled. People who lived in town opened their homes (actually basements) to those who lived in the country to wait the storm out. Quite a few came to my parent's house. We sat downstairs. The grown-ups had coffee and played cards or whatever. Us kids had sodas and played board games. Best meeting ever.
